On October 18, 2024, the Deposit Insurance Corporation (DIC) hosted the Economics Society of the UNIMA to a workshop focusing on the operationalization and economic rationale of the DIC. The DIC’s Director General, Chitani Chigumula and Manager, Operations, Lowina Mwasigala led insightful discussions on the critical role of deposit insurance in fostering financial stability.
