The Deposit Insurance Corporation (DIC) recently concluded a series of awareness workshops for front-line staff of commercial banks held in Mzuzu, Lilongwe, and Blantyre on 15, 16, and 22 April 2025, respectively.
These sessions aimed to strengthen the understanding of the Deposit Insurance Scheme (DIS) and equip bank staff with the right information to assist and educate depositors effectively. Highlights of the workshop included:
